Mouse Visitor

We had a great trip to the 40 acre woods last weekend.  We arrived around midnight and found we had a “guest” that had been hanging out in the cabin while we were away.

Normally we are happy to have visitors, but this time we were not as happy.  The mouse had been busy chewing up the bath tissue and paper napkins.  We had nests full of paper and acorns all around the cabin with a special nest built in my coffee pot.

I don’t think the mouse understands my addiction to coffee!  The mouse came out to greet us, and it was not well received.  15 minutes of grabbing, jumping and screaming later I was able to evict the varmint with the help of our attack wiener dog Anna.

Another exciting night in the 40 acre woods.
